For electrical estimators
Electrical layouts are the densest sheets in the package: hundreds of accessories per floor, drawn small, packed against walls and containment runs. EasyTakeoff counts them from the drawing's vector geometry, so density doesn't degrade accuracy.
Where counts go wrong
A single-socket symbol is often drawn inside the twin variant, so pixel tools count the twin as one of each. EasyTakeoff counts one accessory, once, as the right variant.
1-gang, 2-gang, 2-way and intermediate switches differ by a stroke or two. Each location counts toward exactly one class, the variant actually drawn there, instead of every look-alike matching everywhere.
Accessories sit on containment runs and circuit wiring that pixel matchers read as part of the symbol. EasyTakeoff counts the accessory itself and ignores the noise crossing through it.
Building wings drawn at odd angles rotate every symbol with them. A rotated wing counts exactly like a straight one, at any angle, not just the four right angles.

Upload the small-power and lighting layouts as one set. Each sheet's legend defines your classes; the engine counts every floor, and you review the flagged edge cases: typically a handful per sheet, not hundreds. Finalize, export XLSX, price it. When the schedule changes at revision B, re-upload and count again in minutes.
