EasyTakeoff is a pipeline, not a magic button. Each stage does one job well, and you can see, and override, every decision it makes.
One PDF, everything in it: CAD plans, scanned record drawings, cover sheets, schedules. EasyTakeoff works out what each sheet is and handles it accordingly. No preparation, no splitting files.
Every legend row becomes a symbol class, labels included, even on drawings with no selectable text. If the legend is an image or lives on another sheet, drag a box around it and AI reads the rows. The counting itself is never done by AI.
Symbols are counted at any rotation and scale, look-alikes are told apart, and each location counts once, toward the right class. Re-run a sheet and the totals are identical, every time.
Confident counts confirm themselves. Anything uncertain waits in a queue with a zoomed thumbnail; clear it from the keyboard in minutes. Add, correct, or reclassify by hand at any point.
Finalize and export XLSX or CSV. Every number stays clickable back to its exact locations on the drawing. If a count is ever challenged, the evidence is one click away.
